Zenith El Primero Chronomaster Original 38mm, Box & Papers 2021

This is not a vintage revival but a new take on the famous Zenith El Primero Chronograph. This model is the Chronomaster 38mm in stainless steel with the famous tri-coloured registers and striking red chronograph hand. The calibre 3600 runs at 5Hz (36,000 vph), is one of the few mechanical chronographs that can measure 1/10 of a second and 1/100 of a second on a single rotation. The chronograph function is performed using a column wheel and lateral clutch providing on elf the sleekest stop Strat actions in th business. One of the key features of this movement is hacking seconds which the original El Primero calibres never had. We could say therefore that this is El Primero 2.0. for the 21st Century. Presented in excellent, lightly-used preowned condition as a full set, comprising Zenith boxes, swing tag, booklet and UK Warranty card dated 2021.
